About Us

Hansol Funeral Services is an independent, family‑owned funeral provider that has supported the Sydney community with compassion and dignity since 2015. Over the years, we have remained committed to offering care that is both deeply personal and culturally attuned, ensuring every family feels seen, understood, and respectfully guided.
We recognise that the loss of a loved one can be especially challenging for migrant families, who often navigate not only grief but also the complexities of language, tradition, and unfamiliar systems. That is why we provide culturally sensitive care, clear and thoughtful guidance, and a trusted hand to walk with them through each step of the journey—helping families honour their loved ones in ways that reflect their values, heritage, and heartfelt memories.

After the cremation, any remaining metallic objects are removed from the cremated remains which are then transferred to a processor to reduce the bone fragments to a fine, granular consistency. The ashes are then placed in a sealed container and dealt with according to the funeral director’s instructions.

Choosing between a burial and cremation is a very personal decision and it can be a difficult subject to think about now. However it is necessary step, you should make time to discuss your preference with your family so that they’re able to confidently carry out your wishes without the stress of having to guess what you would have wanted.
